Partnerships and Alliances.

Rackspace Managed Hosting, founded in January of 1999, has
received more than $27 million dollars in venture funding
since its inception. Investors include the most prominent
venture capital firms in the country including Sequoia Capital
(Cisco, Apple), Norwest Venture Partners (Tivoli, PeopleSoft),
and Redhat. We have experienced rapid growth and are now one
of largest managed hosting companies in the world with more
than 2000 customers in 50 different countries and 3000 servers
under management. Rackspace management is committed to the
financial success and stability of the company. We achieved
profitability in February 2001 and will require no further
equity financing to continue to grow.
Our world-class data facilities, multi-homed network, and
fanatical customer service have earned us the reputation as
the premiere provider of managed hosting solutions to customers
around the world. The Rackspace network is home to all types
of websites -- from Fortune 1000 companies such as AMD, Canon,
KPMG, Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting), and Ziff-Davis
to up-and-coming e-businesses such as Merchant-Pay.com, Bleem!,
Platform.net, Calendars.com, and Health.com. Visit

Appliant's
origins lie in the vision of three computer scientists —
Brian Bershad, Brad Chen and Brian Marsh. These talented
individuals, all holding Ph.D.s in computer science — specializing
in distributed systems, performance analysis, operating
systems and computer architecture, started the company in
1997. They saw strong commercial potential for their combined
experience in distributed systems and Internet technologies
to develop services to monitor and solve complex Web performance
management problems. Visit
